Raafat Belkhair

Raafat Belkhair is a seasoned multimedia journalist with extensive experience in reporting and managing diverse media platforms. Currently serving as a Multimedia Reporter at Middle East Broadcasting Networks since December 2020, Raafat covers compelling stories from Libya and is involved in the planning and production of features. Prior to this role, Raafat worked as a Freelance Senior Journalist and held key positions at the BBC, including Senior Broadcast Journalist and Editor/Coordinator of Elkul. Raafat has a rich background in political journalism, having worked as a Political Affairs Editor and Talk Show Presenter at the National Libyan Channel, along with experience in news production and public relations. Raafat holds a B.A. in Political Sciences from the University of Tripoli.
