Shane M. Cooke

Mr. Cooke served as President of Alkermes from September 2011 until his retirement in March 2018. He became a director of Alkermes upon his retirement. Mr. Cooke is Chairman of the Board of Alkermes Pharma Ireland Limited (“APIL”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alkermes, and has had that position since September 2011. From May 2007 to September 2011, Mr. Cooke was Executive Vice President of Elan Corporation, plc (“Elan”) and Head of Elan Drug Technologies. Mr. Cooke served as the Chief Financial Officer of Elan from July 2001, when he joined Elan, until May 2011. From May 2005 to September 2011, Mr. Cooke served as a director of Elan. Prior to joining Elan, Mr. Cooke was Chief Executive of Pembroke Capital Limited, an aviation leasing company, and prior to that, held a number of senior positions in finance in the banking and aviation industries. He is a chartered accountant. He is currently on the board of directors of Prothena Corporation plc, Endo International plc and UDG Healthcare plc, each a publicly traded company.
