Delaney started at ALKU in June of 2017 as an Internal Recruiter. In her time as an Internal Recruiter, she was responsible for over 220 hires. In April of 2019, she transitioned into the newly established role of College Relationship Specialist, building over 150 contacts and relationships with collegiate faculty, students, and staff to help strengthen ALKU’s reach and connect with students and college programs. Additionally, she planned, executed, and hosted Accepted ALKrewters Day, a training for ALKU employees attending career fairs and college events throughout the year to help create buy-in for the start-up division of College Relationship Development (CRD) in the Talent Acquisition department.
Delaney was promoted to a Senior employee in July of 2019, and most recently transitioned back to the role of Internal Recruiter to help best support the Talent Acquisition team. She has taken on the mentorship of fellow Internal Recruiters during ALKU’s WFH time. Delaney has been able to implement new processes, make updates/changes to old processes, generate activity to lead by example, and get a solid framework down for the relationships she is building with the three Internal Recruiters.
Whether it was going to be in CRD or now in Internal Recruiting, Delaney possesses the traits, desires, and work ethic required for a management position. Since the beginning of her employment, Delaney has put in countless hours on the phone and on the road, proving her professional commitment. She impresses not only coworkers she works most closely with, but coworkers at every level and in every role at ALKU. Delaney has earned the achievement of this next step in her career.
In her role as Internal Recruiting Manager, Delaney manages the sourcing, screening, internal interviewing, and partial onboarding processes of ALKU’s internal talent. She develops plans to ensure the achievement of the company's internal hiring goals for both full-time employees, as well as for the internship program. Delaney manages the individual Internal Recruiters production and professional development, as well as meet with internal decision-makers at every level as it relates to individual department/division personnel needs.
