Larry Felser

Larry Felser is a former technology advisor to Paul Allen, and was one of the early leaders at Blue Origin, LLC, where he served for a decade as the head of enterprise, engineering, and test facilities software. In this role, he and his teams pioneered the use of then nascent cloud computing for large-scale engineering computations and data workflows. In his 35 years of commercial and industrial experience, Felser has created advanced tools for professionals in aerospace, architecture, manufacturing, mechanical design, and systems biology.

He holds 11 US Patents in programmable and parametric geometry, notification systems, embedded compilers, and architectures for high-throughput design systems. He is currently a Senior Principal Engineer at Amazon, where he works in the areas of automation, transportation, mechatronics and the design of integrated systems.
