Sam joined Allford Monaghan Morris in 2002, having studied at the University of Edinburgh and TU Delft in the Netherlands. Sam’s diploma project was nominated for both the RIBA and RIAS Silver Medals. Having previously worked for Foster and Partners on the GLA HQ and as freelance model maker, Sam brings an acute focus and attention to detail to the projects he works on. He has worked across a wide variety of sectors, scales and procurement routes – from large mixed-use masterplanning schemes to bespoke projects such as the Halcyon Art Gallery within Harrods of Knightsbridge and the Quadrant 4 residential development for the Crown Estate. Sam was made an Associate in 2015.
In addition to running projects, Sam has acted as an Architectural Technology tutor for the MA course at the University of Greenwich, and has been an RIBA Part III Professional Studies examiner at the Bartlett since 2012.
