Damien Raju

Damien Raju is a Control Systems Engineer at Alliance Automation since July 2022, with prior experience as Electronics Lead at TeamArrow Racing Association and a Data Engineer at Flight Centre Travel Group. At Flight Centre, Damien utilized machine learning on Microsoft Azure to develop an automated solution for predicting customer churn. Additional roles include Software Developer at Sensavation, where Damien focused on front-end development for an IoT dashboard, and Junior Engineer at CSIRO's Data61, where a proof of concept rule engine was created. Earlier, Damien served as an Academic Tutor at The University of Queensland, imparting software engineering knowledge, and was involved in website development for TEDxUQ. With foundational experience in robotics and a customer service role at Guzman y Gomez, Damien holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Queensland, completed in 2022.
