Josephine Thomason

Josephine Thomason currently serves as the National Advisor for Whole Child Health at the Alliance for a Healthier Generation since April 2022. As the Founder and Owner of Nutrisi Consulting LLC since November 2018, Josephine applies extensive expertise in child nutrition. From February 2016 to October 2018, Josephine was a Senior Technical Advisor at Insight Policy Research, providing technical assistance outreach with a focus on child nutrition programs and contributing to large-scale study design and analysis. Prior experience includes serving as a Registered Dietitian/Food and Nutrition Specialist at Flagler County Schools from June 2005 to January 2016, where Josephine reviewed the School Meals Initiative Program, and as a Program Specialist III at the Florida Department of Education from 2000 to 2005, delivering training and technical assistance to Child Nutrition Sponsors. Josephine holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition Education & Health Promotion from Florida State University, obtained from 1994 to 2001.
