Casey Tokeshi is a Research Specialist and Food Systems Specialist at the Alliance of Biodiversity International and CIAT since October 2021. Previously, Casey served as a Leland International Hunger Fellow at the Congressional Hunger Center from September 2021 to September 2023 and worked as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from September 2020 to July 2021. Additional experience includes roles as a Medical Assistant at Thrive Wellness Center for Women, a Peace Corps Volunteer in Indonesia, an intern at CRY - Child Rights and You, and an intern at the California State Treasurer’s Office. Casey holds a Master of Health Science in Environmental Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Anthropology and Global Health, as well as Political Science from the University of Washington.
