Anwar Khan is a prominent figure in the philanthropy and humanitarian sectors, currently serving as Vice Chair of the Board for the Alliance to End Hunger and the Joint Learning Initiative on Faith & Local Communities, in addition to being a Board Member for World Food Program USA. With an extensive background, Anwar co-founded Islamic Relief USA in 1993 and held the position of President until May 2024, significantly growing the organization during this period. Anwar also contributes as Associate Faculty at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
