Edmar Travassos

Edmar Travassos is currently the Gerente de Filial at Allianz Brasil, overseeing the São Luís-MA and Teresina/PI branches since January 2017. Prior to this role, Edmar served as an Account Manager and Professor at the Escola de Negócios e Seguros in 2019, specializing in Aeronautical and Marine Hull Insurance, among other subjects. Edmar also taught various insurance-related courses at the Escola Nacional de Seguros in early 2017. Earlier experience includes a position as Assessor Comercial and roles in Claims and Issuance at MAPFRE from March 2012 to January 2017. Edmar holds an MBA in Project Management from Estácio (2018-2019) and has completed executive certifications in Business Development, Leadership, Networking, and future scenario planning from FIA Business School and a leadership program at Escola Conquer in September 2023.
