Steve Chaput

Steve Chaput currently serves as the Head of North America Infrastructure Debt at Allianz Global Investors, overseeing the origination and deployment of private credit investments in infrastructure across North America since September 2024. Prior to this role, Steve was an Investment Director at Sustainable Development Capital LLP from June 2022 to September 2024, focusing on investments in the energy transition sector. Steve's extensive experience in finance includes a tenure as Vice President in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities encompassed energy transition initiatives, project finance, and sustainable finance from June 2010 to June 2022. Earlier, Steve gained experience at Lehman Brothers / Barclays Capital in technology, media, and telecom investment banking and served as a Private Equity Analyst at Hampshire Equity Partners. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law.
