Yizhen Cai

Yizhen Cai is an architectural designer currently employed at Alliiance since May 2022, previously serving as an architectural intern. Yizhen has experience as a teaching assistant for ARCH 1281 Design Fundamentals I at the University of Minnesota and worked as a designer for Minnesota Wisconsin Playground. Prior roles include interior designer at Tushie Montgomery Architects, design assistant/drafter at Ramsey Engler LTD, and design intern at Intereum. Yizhen's background also includes positions as an event and communication student assistant at the University of Minnesota College of Design, student administrative assistant at the Confucius Institute, and design consultant at the International Design Center. Yizhen holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2023, and a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, obtained in 2019, along with a previous Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the Carlson School of Management.
