Ricardo de Arruda

Ricardo de Arruda is a data professional with extensive experience in blockchain data management and quantitative trading systems. Currently serving as a Data Wizard at Allium since September 2022, Ricardo specializes in handling substantial volumes of blockchain data. Previously, as a Quant at ASQ Capital from February to September 2022, considerable time was dedicated to optimizing cryptocurrency trading systems using C, Cython, and Python. Ricardo also contributed as a Data Scientist at TC, where responsibilities included building a backtesting engine and developing data pipelines while exploring the integration of social media behavior into trading models. In addition, Ricardo worked simultaneously as a Data Scientist and Software Engineer at JiveMauá and Pontte during 2020-2021. Ricardo is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering at Escola Politécnica da USP, with a planned exchange program in Economics at Università Bocconi in 2024.
