Dan Carter is an accomplished technology executive with a strong background in claims management and system architecture. Currently serving as Vice President at Allstate since March 2021, Dan has previously held roles such as Director of Claims Technology Services, where responsibilities included overseeing global operations and ensuring the continuous availability of enterprise claim systems. Dan started at Allstate in January 2003 and also worked as Chief Architect, focusing on preserving architectural integrity and developing technology strategies. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Java Contractor at Walgreens and a Java Architect at W.W. Grainger. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Taylor University, earned from 1983 to 1987.
