Bernat Vidal

Bernat Vidal has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly at Almirall, where since June 1998, Bernat has held several key leadership roles including Early-Stage External Innovation Senior Director, External Innovation Director, and Head of Pharmaceutical Lifecycle Management. In these positions, Bernat has been instrumental in identifying preclinical licensing opportunities, executing growth initiatives for medical dermatology, and managing both early and late lifecycle opportunities. Additionally, Bernat has expertise in scouting emerging technologies and leading drug discovery programs, especially in respiratory and dermatology fields. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Universitat de Barcelona and completing a Research Associate role in Organic Chemistry at Stanford University. Bernat Vidal holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Universitat de Barcelona.
