Makda Fitsum

Makda Fitsum is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Associate at Alpaca VC, focusing on uncovering investment opportunities in personalized e-commerce through a Field Study. Previously, Makda worked at Goldman Sachs from 2019 to 2023 in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Group, progressing from Investment Banking Summer Analyst to Investment Banking Associate. Additional experiences include a Real Estate Private Equity Internship at Artemis Real Estate Partners and a Data Analyst Internship at Zayo Group. Makda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Information Management from the University of Colorado Boulder and has also studied at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
