Leon Vermeij

Leon Vermeij is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in executive leadership and accounting. Currently serving as Executive Director and Board Member as well as CFO at Alphatron Marine since August 2020, Leon previously held the position of Finance Manager at VARO Energy from January 2009 to August 2020. Earlier roles include Interim Professional Finance at Yacht and Registeraccountant/CPA positions at ESJ Accountants & Belastingadviseurs and Ernst & Young. Leon began their career as an Assistant Accountant at Verstegen & Co. Academic credentials include a Registeraccountant/CPA degree from Tilburg University, complemented by a Bachelor in Accountancy from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
