Rizwan Sabir (P.Eng, PMP) is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in maintenance and reliability engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Maintenance & Reliability at AltaGas Ltd. since September 2022, Rizwan previously held key roles at Cenovus Energy, including Manager of Reliability Engineering & Maintenance Readiness and Sr. Reliability Engineer from May 2014 to September 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Maintenance Engineer on the Marine Well Containment System Project and at Kearl Oilsand with AMEC from June 2012 to April 2014, and as Plant Maintenance Manager at Evraz Inc NA from July 2010 to June 2012. Early career experience includes a role as an MWD Engineer at Schlumberger from 2006 to 2008. Rizwan holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Lakehead University and further education from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
