Scott Olivet is an Operating Partner with ACP. Scott helps source, evaluate and monitor investments broadly, with particular emphasis on consumer and retail businesses focused on the following sectors: sports, action sports, outdoor, street and fusion, and culturally relevant lifestyle brands.

Scott played a pivotal role in ACP’s investments in Dakine, Mervin, HUF, Brixton, Fox, Hybrid Apparel, Renegade Brands, and Billabong, where he was the CEO-designate. Scott is currently executive chairman of RED Digital Cinema, a designer and manufacturer of professional digital cinematography equipment. He served as chairman of Collective Brands (CBI), a lifestyle, fashion and performance footwear company. After CBI’s CEO resigned, Scott stepped into an active leadership role. Scott also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Oakley, an optics and sports performance product company where he engineered an impressive turn-around and then a sale to Luxottica. Subsequent to the sale, he continued to manage the business for Luxottica as CEO and then as Chairman. Prior to joining Oakley, Scott served as Vice President, NIKE Subsidiaries (where the businesses that reported to him included Converse, Hurley, Bauer, Cole Hahn, Starter) and New Business Development; Senior Vice President of Real Estate, Store Design, and Construction with Gap Inc.; and as a partner with Bain & Company.

Scott currently serves as Chairman and across the Renegade portfolio of companies: Dakine, Mervin Manufacturing, HUF, Brixton, Fox, Hybrid Apparel, and Renegade Brands. He also serves as a Director of Skullcandy (NASDAQ: SKUL), Cedar Fair Entertainment (NYSE: FUN), and RED Digital Cinema (Executive Chairman). He is a past board member and Chairman of both Oakley and Collective Brands. Non-profit boards include Pomona College and Pacific Council on International Policy.
