Julio Flores

Julio Flores, CIA, currently serves as Vice President and Chief Audit Executive of Internal Audit at Synopsys Inc, leading the department and modernizing audit practices through data analytics and an IA data science program. With extensive experience at organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, where Julio directed the Internal Audit Services and launched a data analytics group for health plans, and KPMG LLP, where leadership encompassed managing various internal audit engagements, Julio has established a strong background in internal audit and compliance. In addition to current roles, Julio contributes to the community as a Board Member and Program Committee Chair for Alternative Family Services, while previously holding significant positions in the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA). A graduate of California State University, Northridge with a degree in Accounting, Julio's career reflects a commitment to enhancing audit practices and supporting Latino leadership development.
