Tor Erling Nygaard

Tor Erling Nygaard is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in R&D engineering and product management, currently serving as Technical Manager STB at Altibox since June 2023. As the Founder of StepVision since September 2016, Tor specializes in low latency, high-resolution video solutions, alongside telecom, power solutions, audio design, optical laser systems, and mechanical hardware design. Previous roles include Senior Product Engineer at MHWirth, where Tor managed CCTV and telecom systems, and Product Engineer positions at Aker Solutions/MHWirth, focusing on complete system development. Earlier experience includes R&D engineering roles at Eltek AS and Ericsson, concentrating on renewable energy conversion and circuit board development for Ethernet and signal integrity.
