Deniz Aydin

Deniz Aydin is a Senior Scientist in Computational Chemistry at Altos Labs since September 2024, previously holding the same title at Septerna from February 2023 to September 2024. Prior experience includes serving as an SNSF and EMBO Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University from September 2019 to January 2023, and as a Research and Teaching Assistant in Biotechnology and Bioengineering at EPFL from 2015 to 2019. Additional roles encompass a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of California San Diego in 2017, research and teaching assistant positions at Koç University from 2012 to 2014, and an undergraduate researcher at Istanbul Technical University from 2011 to 2012. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Bioengineering from EPFL, a Master of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Koç University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Istanbul Technical University, complemented by participation in the Erasmus European Exchange Program at Nantes Université.
