Tejas Umbarkar

Tejas Umbarkar is a Mechanical Product Design Engineer at Architectural Lighting Works (ALW) since March 2017, previously serving as a Mechanical Engineer at Lunera Lighting from March 2014 to March 2017. Tejas has expertise in mechanical design for LED lamps and fixtures, including the use of SolidWorks and Arena PLM for production coordination. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University's Computational Multi-Physics Lab, where Tejas authored a Solutions Manual and developed a computational fluid dynamics code for human arterial flow. Tejas holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
