Jared Kuker

Jared Kuker, P.E. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in gearbox design and support. Currently serving as Co-Founder at Blue Barrel Scientific since August 2017, Jared also holds positions at Amarillo Gear Company, where responsibilities include engineering management and technical support for world-class gearboxes. Previous roles encompass senior engineer, gear engineer, and warranty engineer, focusing on warranty claims, technical inquiries, and failure analyses. In addition to industry experience, Jared has contributed to academia as a part-time instructor at Amarillo College and as a graduate research assistant at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in crystal plasticity and microstructural modeling. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
