Colin Newman

Colin Newman, currently serving as Director of Economic Development and Director of Public Policy at Amazon since September 2021, has extensive experience in workforce development and public policy across multiple states. In addition to roles at Amazon, Colin Newman holds board positions with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and Choose New Jersey, Inc., and is a member of the American Enterprise Institute's Leadership Network. Previously, Colin Newman was Vice President of Global Public Policy at Audible, where leadership was demonstrated through community engagement and social impact initiatives in Newark. With a background in legal affairs including roles as Deputy Chief Counsel and Director of the Office of Legal Counsel for the Governor of New Jersey, and Chief Counsel for the Minority Caucus in the New Jersey General Assembly, Colin Newman combines legal expertise with significant public policy experience. Colin Newman's educational background includes a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Economics and Government from Georgetown University.
