Sasikumar

Sasikumar is a NDE II Engineer at AME International. Sasikumar has also worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Basic Training at Northern Lights College from February 2018 to June 2019. In this role, they completed Basic M training approved by Transport Canada. Sasikumar also acted as an Quality Assurance Manager of AMO 1-18 and performed quality assurance audits as per transport Canada requirements. Sasikumar was a silver medalist in Aerospace Technology for BC skills competition 2019. Sasikumar has also been trained on various aircrafts, helicopters and engines like Astar 350-D with Honeywell LTS 101, Aztec with Lycoming IO-540B, Bell 205 with Honeywell T53, Cessna 150 with Continental O-200-A, Cessna 180 with Continental O-470, Cessna 310 with Continental IO-470-D, Jetstream 31 with Garrett TPE 331-10, King Air 90 with PT6A-20 and PT6-20. Sasikumar has also received training on Aircraft Stores, Ni-Cd & Lead acid battery shop, Library, Taxiing and Towing of aircraft, Hoist operations (2 tonnes & 5 tonnes), Nitrogen & Oxygen bottle handling.

Sasikumar's educational career includes earning an advanced diploma in airframe mechanics and aircraft maintenance technology/technician from Northern Lights College, a bachelor of science in aircraft maintenance engineering from Singhania University, and a certificate in human factors in aviation from Northern Lights College. Sasikumar also has a certification in general engineering and maintenance practices from the Director General of Civil Aviation India, a certification in civil aviation rules and regulations from the Director General of Civil Aviation India, and a certification in verified international academic qualifications from the World Education Services. In addition, they have a certification in safety on move operator training theory from Johnston Equipment and a certification in occupational first aid level 1 from WorkSafeBC.
