Stefan Ruediger is a seasoned academic and data consultant with significant experience in teaching, research, and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Data Consultant focused on Climate Data at the American Academy of Actuaries and as an Associate Professor at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Stefan has held various teaching roles at prestigious institutions including Arizona State University and the University of Wisconsin, exploring topics such as Managerial Economics, Financial Markets, and Econometrics. Research efforts encompass an interdisciplinary approach, analyzing the cultural impacts on prescription opioid consumption and examining the effects of patent legislation on innovation. Stefan has also contributed to curriculum design, online education, and guided both undergraduate and graduate students throughout an extensive academic career, while earning a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MA in Economics and Finance from the University of Potsdam.
