Yixian Zhang

Yixian (John) Zhang is an accomplished professional in the biopharmaceutical field, currently serving as Senior Managing Director at the American Association for Cancer Research since May 2017, after holding the position of Senior Director. Prior experience includes Executive Research Director at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing research grants and strategic planning. Zhang has also served as VP of Biology/Pharmacology at Belrose Pharma, where contributions involved pipeline planning and drug delivery strategies. Earlier roles include Associate Director and Head of Pharmacology at Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Principal Research Scientist at WYETH, and Instructor at Baylor College of Medicine. Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Texas, obtained in 1991.
