Jennifer Hamilton is a board member at the American Association of Community Theatre. Jennifer has over twenty years of experience in emergency management and environmental safety.
Jennifer began their career as a Public Health Preparedness Planner at the Arizona Department of Health Services. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing statewide public health preparedness and response plans. Jennifer also coordinated with local, state, and federal partners to ensure a coordinated response to emergencies.
Jennifer then became the Emergency Management Program Manager at Banner Health. In this role, they oversaw the development and implementation of emergency management plans for all Banner Health facilities. Jennifer also led the organization's response to major disasters, such as hurricanes and wildfires. Jennifer collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance preparedness and safety culture through in person and online training opportunities for employees and patients.
Most recently, Jennifer was the Continuity of Operation Plan Program Manager at Arizona State University. In this role, they oversaw the development and implementation of 140 continuity of operation plans. Jennifer also provided guidance, training, and exercises to plan managers based on annual requirements and real-world events such as COVID and ransomware. Jennifer collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance preparedness and safety culture through in person and online training opportunities for students and staff.
Jennifer Hamilton has a Master's in Public Health from the University of Arizona and a certification from the International Association of Emergency Managers in Certified Emergency Manager (CEM). Jennifer also went to Durango High School.
