Teresa J. Schmid, JD, EMBA, LP.D, CAE, currently serves as the Director of the Center for Professional Responsibility at the American Bar Association and holds a significant role on the Ethics and Professional Responsibility Committee. With extensive experience in legal ethics, governance, and professional responsibility, Teresa has previously been involved with numerous organizations including the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where Teresa served as a member and past chair of the Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee, and in executive roles at the Oregon State Bar and State Bar of Arizona. Teresa's academic credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, an Executive MBA from the Drucker School of Management, and a Law & Policy degree from Northeastern University.
