Emily Smith

Emily Smith is a Government Relations Intern specializing in National Security and Appropriations at Invariant as of January 2024. Previously, Emily worked as a Research Assistant at Kellogg, Hansen, Todd, Figel & Frederick PLLC, where responsibilities included overseeing summer interns and maintaining a digital records management system. Additional experience includes serving as a Legislative Intern in the U.S. House of Representatives, where Emily researched press clippings and drafted briefings on the Ukraine crisis. Emily's background also encompasses roles in customer service and support, as well as involvement in a competitive congressional campaign. Emily holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from Miami University.
