Emily Smith

Emily Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in real estate, community service, and business ownership. Currently serving on the Member Board of Directors at American Community Bank & Trust since March 2022, Emily has also been a Commercial Real Estate Broker at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Starck Real Estate since May 2011, specializing in McHenry County area business and land property sales and leases. As the Owner of MLE Designs since November 2018, Emily provides staging services for residential realtors and assists clients in creating cohesive spaces that reflect their brand. Previously, Emily held the position of Coordinator of Service Learning & Volunteerism at McHenry County College, where a focus was on connecting students with community service opportunities. Initial career experience includes customer service and training coordination at Stryker. Emily holds a degree in Consumer & Textile Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
