Loki Karuna

Loki Karuna serves as the Director of Artist Equity at the American Composers Orchestra, implementing composer advancement programs through an equity lens while upholding the organization's values of diversity, disruption, and discovery in orchestral music. Additionally, Loki holds the position of President at TrillWerks Media, producing content that broadens dialogues in the arts, including notable productions like "The Sound of 13" and the TRILLOQUY podcast. Previous experiences include roles as National Host and Producer for “Music Through the Night” with American Public Media Group, Sr. Programmer/Announcer at WUOT, Second Bassoonist with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, and participation in the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's African-American Fellowship Program. Educational achievements include a Master of Music in Bassoon from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Music in Bassoon from The University of Memphis.
