Benjamin Zycher

Benjamin Zycher is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in various research and academic roles. Currently serving as the John G. Searle Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute since June 2013 and as a Senior Fellow at the Pacific Research Institute since 2009, Zycher also operates their own consulting firm, Benjamin Zycher Economics Associates, established in November 2004. Previous positions include working as an Associate in the Intelligence Community Associates Program at the Bureau of Intelligence and Research, U.S. Department of State from January 2009 to December 2011, and as an Adjunct Professor teaching financial accounting in the MBA program at California State University, Channel Islands from January 2009 to December 2010. Zycher's earlier career includes serving as a Senior Economist at the Rand Corporation from May 1998 to October 2004. Zycher holds a Ph.D. in Economics from UCLA.
