Austin Kinzer is an experienced professional currently serving as an Agrivoltaics Senior Technical Specialist at American Farmland Trust since September 2023. Prior to this role, Austin worked as a Graduate Intern in Agrivoltaic Analysis at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory from October 2022 to September 2023, and held positions such as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Payne Institute for Public Policy and EDF Climate Corps Fellow at Environmental Defense Fund. Austin's early career includes roles in business development and engineering at Nikola Power, teaching at The Princeton Review, and ski instruction at Powderpigs Ski School. Austin holds a Master's Degree in Advanced Energy Systems from Colorado School of Mines and is currently pursuing a PhD in the same field at the same institution. Additionally, Austin has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and has gained international experience through studies at Universitat Politècnica de València.
