Dan Baer

Dan Baer is a seasoned camp management professional with extensive experience in directing and overseeing various camp programs. Currently serving as the Director of Camp Seneca Lake at the Louis S. Wolk JCC of Greater Rochester since January 2022, Dan previously held the Camp Director role at Camp Mountain Chai from March 2016 to January 2022, where responsibilities included managing a $1.5MM budget and comprehensive programming. Dan's background also includes positions as Associate Director at Boulder JCC, December 2013 to March 2016, where a new overnight camp was launched, and at Steve and Shari Sadek Family Camp Interlaken JCC for five years ensuring camper and staff welfare. Early career experience includes roles at Hiram House Camp and Cornell Fitness Centers, along with a marketing position for the Road Runner Akron Marathon. Dan holds a BS in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, earned in 2008.
