Kimberly Bolan

Kimberly Bolan serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Allen County Public Library since October 2019, overseeing public service and operations for a library system that caters to 339,000 residents across 14 locations and a workforce of over 300 employees. Additionally, Kimberly Bolan has been an instructor for the American Library Association since January 2021, teaching “Planning and Management of Buildings.” Prior experience includes founding Kimberly Bolan and Associates, LLC in 2004, where services were provided to libraries across the U.S. as President and Principal Consultant, and working as an Associate Principal Consultant at Providence Associates, LLC, specializing in facilities planning and strategic transformations. Other roles included Director of Marketing and Human Resources at Evanced Solutions, LLC, Assistant Director at Webster Public Library, and various positions in library services and management dating back to 1991. Kimberly Bolan holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Syracuse University and multiple Bachelor of Arts degrees from SUNY Geneseo.
