Danna Thompson

Danna Thompson is an experienced advocacy professional currently serving as the Director of Advocacy for the American Lung Association, focusing on public policy initiatives in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina since December 2022. Previously, Danna held roles such as Vice President of Government Relations & Health Policy at the Georgia Dental Association and Leadership Events Specialist at the National MS Society. Danna also worked as a Legislative Communications Manager and Lobbyist at Thrash-Haliburton Government Affairs, recognized as Georgia's #1 Lobbying Firm in 2019. Additional experience includes a Government Affairs Associate position at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and various roles in the State of Georgia and Alabama State Senate. Danna earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Business from Auburn University.
