Yen Ang is an accomplished public health professional with extensive experience in health equity and nutrition. Currently serving as Vice President of Health Equity at Tangelo and an Executive Member of the Action Board for the American Public Health Association, Yen Ang also holds the position of California State Assembly Speaker Appointee for the Flexible Assistance for Survivors. As the founder of the Anti-Hunger Coalition and a former President of Public Health Nutrition at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Yen Ang has been recognized for championing a hunger-free environment in San Bernardino County, receiving the Woman of the Year award from State Assembly Majority Leader Eloise Reyes in 2021. With a strong academic background, including multiple degrees in Public Health and Nutrition from Loma Linda University and a Master of Science in Exercise Science from Nanyang Technological University, Yen Ang has also contributed to public health education as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University.
