Josett Valdez

Josett Valdez is currently serving as the Vice President of Fundraising for the North Central Division of the American Red Cross since July 2023. Valdez previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at South Florida Red Cross from November 2020 to July 2023 and served as Chief Development Officer at the American Red Cross of Colorado & Wyoming from July 2018 to November 2020. Earlier roles include Chief Operating Officer at American Red Cross Colorado Wyoming Utah and Nevada and Interim Chief Development Officer during Hurricane Harvey at the Texas Gulf Coast Region. Valdez's career with the American Red Cross began in May 2005, with various roles including Division Director for Service to the Armed Forces and Community Relations Administrator. Valdez holds a BA in Speech Communication from Colorado State University and an MPA in Public Affairs/Disaster Management from the University of Colorado Denver.
