Celeste Connors

Celeste Connors is an experienced leader dedicated to advancing local and indigenous solutions to global challenges. Currently, Connors serves as Co-Chair of the Local2030 Islands Network and CEO of the Hawaii Local2030 Hub, fostering innovation for a climate-resilient future. Additional roles include Special Advisor to the Governor of Hawaii and board memberships at Hawaiian Electric Industries, American Savings Bank, and the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau. Connors has maintained a long-term involvement with the GLOBAL ISLAND PARTNERSHIP (GLISPA) and holds academic degrees from prestigious institutions including Stanford University and SOAS University of London, along with degrees in International Relations, German, and Political Science from Tufts University and the University of Tübingen.
