Jim Carlson

Jim Carlson is an experienced professional in pharmacy services, currently serving as an Accreditation Services Associate at ASHP since September 2016, where responsibilities include leading surveys for PGY1 and PGY2 Pharmacy Residency programs. Prior to ASHP, Jim held significant leadership roles at OmedaRx, including Vice President of Pharmacy Professional Services and Director of PBM Pharmacy Services, focusing on health plan pharmacy services and formulary management from November 2013 to June 2016. Jim also served as President of Carlson Consulting Group from December 2007 to July 2015 and directed Pharmacy Health Plan Services at Group Health Cooperative from 1984 to June 2013, overseeing diverse pharmacy services for various lines of business. Educational qualifications include a PharmD from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Washington State University.
