Rachel Wellington

Rachel Wellington, MPH, currently serves as a Government Affairs Associate and previously held the position of Advocacy and Policy Coordinator at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago as a Policy & Advocacy Intern, where Rachel conducted policy research and legislative analyses, and at the VNA Foundation as a Grantmaking Intern, focusing on public health grants. Additional experience encompasses positions such as Assistant Planner at Jamie Boton, Inc., Policy Intern at the Health & Medicine Policy Research Group, and Administrative Intern at the ACLU of Illinois, along with an internship at the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Rachel holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Health Services from the University of Pittsburgh.
