Megan-Brette Hamilton

Megan-Brette Hamilton, PhD, CCC-SLP, serves as the Chief Staff Officer for Multicultural Affairs at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since May 2022. With extensive experience as a professional speaker and trainer since January 2008, Hamilton occasionally conducts webinars and workshops. Previously, Hamilton hosted the Honeybee Connection Podcast, focusing on the intersection of language, culture, and communication. As an Assistant Professor and Speech-Language Pathologist at Auburn University from August 2016 to May 2022, Hamilton contributed to the field through teaching and certification as an ASHA professional. Hamilton's academic background includes a PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with a master's degree from the University of Maryland and a bachelor's degree from Hampton University.
