Josh Finver

Josh Finver is an experienced professional with a diverse background in transportation management, music, writing, and education. Currently, serving as the Assistant Director of Transportation Demand Management and former Manager of Parking & Commuters Services at American University since September 2011, responsibilities include overseeing university parking operations and implementing sustainable initiatives. In addition to work at American University, Josh is a guitarist and singer-songwriter for the band Black Dog Prowl, which has produced multiple albums. Previous roles include contributing writing for Ball Hogs Radio Network, content production for Tezini Media, music instruction at New Generation School of Music, and administrative support at American University Washington College of Law. Early career experience includes supervision of teller functions at Sandy Spring Bank, where staff development and compliance were key focus areas. Josh holds a BA in Journalism from American University.
