Jen Peng, MA, LPC, is an experienced mental health professional specializing in disaster response and trauma care. Currently serving as a Disaster Mental Health Specialist at Americares since June 2020, Jen deploys to various disasters to provide Psychological First Aid and develop training on gender-based violence and psychosocial support. Previous roles include Crisis Clinician positions at Vail Health and The Aspen Hope Center, where Jen provided psychological support in emergency settings. With a strong background in crisis intervention, assessment, and therapeutic care, Jen has contributed to organizations including Seneca Family of Agencies and the Center for Trauma & Resilience. Jen holds a Master's Degree in International Disaster Psychology from the University of Denver and is pursuing a Master's of Law in International Human Rights & Humanitarian Law.
