Erhardt Preitauer

Erhardt Preitauer is the Director at America’s Health Insurance Plans. Prior to this, they served as the Chairman of the Board at Medicaid Health Plans of America (MHPA) from March 2016 to April 2018. Preitauer has also held positions such as President / CEO Horizon NJ Health and SVP Gov’t Programs Horizon BCBS at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey from November 2013 to April 2018, Central Region Head, Medicaid at Aetna from May 2012 to October 2013, and President, Hawaii Region at WellCare from October 2007 to December 2012. Preitauer began their career in 2003 as a Manager, Producer Programs at Great-West Healthcare and has also worked as Vice President, Business Development / Operations Ovations at UnitedHealth Group from January 2005 to December 2007.

Erhardt Preitauer has an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Penn State University and a BS in Finance and Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno.
