Bonnie Z. is a Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 2023. Currently, Bonnie serves as a Downstream Process Development Intern at Amyris since June 2022. Bonnie has extensive research experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the Ting Xu Group at UC Berkeley, focusing on Polymer Grafted Nanoparticles synthesis. Involved in various student organizations, Bonnie held leadership roles including Corporate Chair for the AIChE - UC Berkeley Chapter and Outreach Chair for Alpha Chi Sigma, where Bonnie organized community outreach events and established mentorship programs for high school students. Additional contributions include financial management for ChemE Car at Berkeley and participation in research initiatives such as the AGURP program led by Alivisatos research group.
