Jayanthi Subramani

Jayanthi Subramani is an accomplished technology and innovation leader with extensive experience in research informatics, currently serving as Head of Research Informatics at Amgen since March 2004. Jayanthi has a proven track record in accelerating drug discovery and development through strong hybrid scientific and engineering expertise. Notable roles include Executive Director and Leader of the Technology Career Development Council, focusing on digital culture and promoting diversity, inclusion, and belonging within Amgen. Previous positions include Director and Senior Manager roles in Research and Development Informatics, where Jayanthi led the development of advanced data systems and applications to enhance biologics research and statistical analysis. Prior to Amgen, Jayanthi worked at Tularik as a Research Software Engineer, developing data analysis systems for small molecule assays. Jayanthi holds a BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Government College of Technology and an MS in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University.
