Duaa e Zahra Shah

Duaa e Zahra Shah is an accomplished individual with extensive experience in human rights and advocacy. Currently serving as Standing Representative and Global Youth Collective Member at Amnesty International since June 2022, Duaa also holds a position on the Youth Advisory Board at Girls Human Rights Hub since September 2023 and is Team Lead for the Talloires Network Next Generation Leaders Program at Tufts University. Recent roles include Fellow at The Human Impacts Institute and Communications Manager at Mahwari Justice. Duaa's background features key positions such as Press Secretary and Deputy Director of Publications at NUST Community Service Club, Educator for the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and Project Associate at UNCTAD. Duaa has furthered education at prestigious institutions, holding a Bachelor of Science in Economics from NUST and currently pursuing a Master of Science at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a Doctor of Law at Columbia Law School.
